what do you resolve to do in 2014?
as usual, the beginning of every new year brings resolutions front and center. while some of these resolutions fall away, one resolution which we always keep at mcgann facial design is the never-ending desire to stay updated and current on the latest in jaw surgery. that is why later this month, dr. grant mcgann will attend the 2014 arnett orthognathic surgery forum (aosf). this event affords the opportunity for some of the best oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the world to get together to discuss new surgical techniques and approaches as well as share difficult or illustrative cases.
the aosf was established as an annual meeting in 1995. the purpose of the forum is to improve patient care by providing advanced education in reconstructive dentistry, orthodontics, and orthognathic surgery. some of this year’s topics include occlusal equilibration and 3d treatment simulation of facial asymmetries. in the end, the goal is to learn from each other’s practices and leave an even better oral surgeon. while the topics may not make a whole lot of sense to the rest of us, it’s a resolution we sure are glad dr. mcgann keeps every year.
from all of us at mcgann facial design, we wish you a happy and prosperous 2014!
