Happy Labor Day!
Labor Day, observed the first Monday of September, is a holiday devoted to the celebrating the social and economic achievements of the American working community. The purpose of the holiday is to honor our country’s workers and their contributions to the strength and well-being of our country. While this year has been difficult on many levels, it is always a good time to recognize the positive contributions of the American worker.
For many of us, Labor Day weekend also symbolizes the end of summer; and like most other holidays, it a time filled with friends and family… and again while this year may be a bit different, there will still plenty of opportunities to eat whatever you want, whenever you want! Holidays, for many of us, are exactly the times we like to let loose and eat plenty of foods that are not so great for us, much less our teeth.
This Labor Day keep in mind that you can have a great weekend while still picking foods and snacks that are good for you and your teeth! By making healthy choices, you will be smiling long after the holiday is over.
