What Are Your 2021 Resolutions?

What do you resolve to do in 2021?

As usual, the beginning of every new year brings resolutions front and center. Let’s not focus too much about 2020 and look to the positive. Year of friendship? Year of health? Year of happiness? While some of these resolutions fall away, one resolution which we always keep at Mcgann Facial Design is the never-ending desire to stay updated and current on the latest in jaw surgery. This is part of our commitment to remaining a leading practice in San Diego and beyond. Traditionally, this has meant in the past Dr. Mcgann attending the Arnett orthognathic surgery forum (AOSF). This event affords the opportunity for some of the best oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the world to get together to discuss new surgical techniques and approaches as well as share difficult or illustrative cases.

The ASOF was established as an annual meeting in 1995 and the purpose of the forum is to improve patient care by providing advanced education in reconstructive dentistry, orthodontics, and orthognathic surgery. Like so many other conferences, the event has been understandably cancelled due to COVID-19. This doesn’t mean we as a practice stop learning. Reading journals, discussing with peers, and keeping our licensure all up to date is a best practice that we will continue to do throughout 2021. While we are not sure it’s a resolution if we do it every year, we are sure are glad Dr. Mcgann and the staff never stop learning.

From all of us at Mcgann Facial Design, we wish you a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2021!
